GREENWOOD

Greenwood is able to offer transport of alpacas.  We are using either our Transit Van with a medium size float attached...more for the short  distances or small numbers.

When we take a larger group we use our haulage Chevy with a LARGE Snow float in tow.....this is fantastic for the alpaca - well sprung, vented, deep straw bed underfoot and as we tend not to "cram them in"  but prefer to take a few less and give both the males and females room to get up and stretch their legs. ..obviously dividers are used between the sexes!   We feel giving the space is especially important for pregnant dams or dams with cria at foot.

They are watered on way and offered lucerne hay. Also available on some occassions is quarantine paddocks at other alpaca breeder farms.

We pride ourselves in the care we take and the condition the alpaca arrive at the "other end".

Cost:  depends on where from and where to and how many on board.  As a rough estimate $2.20 per K including GST.  This price varies if one group from one destination pickup and drop off.
